Circuit training is a great way to get fit.
Circuit training is also an excellent way of training to help stay motivated because you get a variety of exercises to use in the course of a training session.
A well thought out Circuit training program will target all the muscles of the body so you have the benefit of getting a full body workout at every session.
When you combine upbeat music with your circuit training, the time seems to pass a lot quicker and the fund of exercising increases. If you workout at the gym or at home, this upbeat atmosphere will have you looking forward to your next workout.
You do not need to be a member of a gym to do circuit training. You can design your own circuit-training program to do at home. You do not need expensive equipment. you can design your program to use dumbbells, resistance band or design a circuit training program based around exercises that only use your own body weight.
A good resistance band or body weight circuit training program is portable and can be done indoors or outdoors and can also include walking or running as part of the training program.
You can design the Circuit training program to target any areas of your body that you desire and it can be fun creating your own training program and making changes to your training as you progress.
It does not matter what type of exercise program you do, it is good to keep a record of your results and always challenge yourself to do better.
Carrying a note book and pen and record your progress. Looking back in a month at your progress can be inspiring and there will be sufficient time in between the exercises to jot down these notes.
With little or no equipment you can design your own circuit training program and there really are only two rules.
1. Work the full body.
2. Have fun and enjoy the experience.
